- Furious Plymouth Trip this comming weekend 13th/14th June. 2 places £135 with B+B. Weather looks very good and Paul Harris and Kirsty were down the club last night and Paul says the vis is over 20 mtrs. He should know as he dives out of Plymouth every week.
- Skin Deep Weymouth 20th 21st June. £150 incls B+B 3 places contact Chris Day as Jens is away.
- Beowulf Poole 27/28th June. 8 places £50 for one day or £100 for both days. Go for the weekend or just one day.
- Angus is a little angry of how his/the clubs dive kit is being treated. He reports that training kit is being returned from the pool without being washed. The BC's are not being drained after use, dust caps not being fixed in place on the regulators and some people are not signing kit out. I believe the usual tap we use for washing the kit at the Spectrum has been relocated to a very none user friendly place. Because of this we are going to get mains water into the boatshed so kit can be washed down after training back at the boatshed. Why do we need to wash the kit off you ask. Because the special cocktail of things that the Spectrum puts in the pool water to keep it clean and free from bugs corrodes rubber O rings. As the kit you use has numerous O rings in its construction you don't want to make them weaken. Its not nice if one fails underwater. You don't want that to happen. So please wash you kit.
If anyone has any club kit they have used and have not yet returned it could you please let Angus know so he can keep his records up to date.
- Raft Race. 4th July I have two rafts some spare pallet wrap 4 paddles but no one to do it. What a let down. We have done the race for the last 3 years came first in our class last year and this year we can't even get 4 people to have a go. Which I hope means they are all out diving.
The race finishes at the Waterside and the place is packed with people. It is a great way to help pull our weight for the Waterside centre. Can we have someone to do this please. I am away in the IOM.
- Neil Turners trip to the West side on the IOW. Names to him and he looking for another tower. 4th/5th July.
- Good luck to Wally and the gang on their Ireland trip.
- Lost and Found . Blue metal water bottle found in one of the boats, poss form last sharks tooth dive. Found last night at pool one DSMB and reel.
- Steve Turner and Nicky are having a BBQ this Sat all are welcome.
Thats all folks

- Beowulf hard boat trip went ahead on Saturday and fun was had by all. Thanks to Jens for Managing the trip. Sundays Sharks teeth dive had an even better tiime and managed to get in 30 dives. Thanks to Steelo for towing and all the instructors and DL for helping to take people in.
- The Furious Plymouth hard boat trip on the 13/14th June is full. Have fun you guys.
- I am running a Mulberry dive on the 14th June which is open to all levels. I do require HELP to take people in. I already have 4 names of newly qualified ocean divers and 1 trainee who would like to go but I can't take them all in. If you want to join us and can take someone in that would be a great help. Contact me direct.
- Skin Deep Weymouth 20/21st June has 3 spaces left £150 incls B+B. Beowulf 26/27th June Poole £100 for the two days. Or £50 if you just go for the Sat or Sunday.
- Atlantic diver 27/28th June Newquay is full.
- For all soft Boat divers. Can we please try to get the boats washed down before they are returned to the boatshed. The reason for this is two fold A/ The sooner we wash the salt off the less corrosion takes place. B/ there are less and less people turning up on a Tuesday evening to help wash the boats down. For example 18 people used Mckie on Sunday and only 5 made it down to wash the boat. There are lots of reasons why people can't help to clean. Location, work courses etc. So its far easier to clean them on the day if its possible.
- If anyone hired club kit over the weekend and/or if you do in the future can you please make sure it is returned washed and availible for pool use for the Tusday evening. This week we were very short of kit for guys training in the pool.
- Last Shout for the Drysuite deal from Oxygene. £360 for a Typhoon pro sport including an undersuite. Contact Joe from Oxygene direct. we need ten for the deal to work. There are 5 from our club and about 3 from Cranleigh club.
